ONLINE appointment cancellations are automatically refunded, upon cancellation

A $2.50 ECO fee will be added to each ticket upon cash out. With the help of Green Circle Salons, we recycle and repurpose up to 95% of our beauty waste. Including hair clippings, used foils, color tubes, excess hair color, nail files, cotton and more. This also ensures our colour waste is being disposed of in the proper wastelands keeping our animals safe from toxic chemicals and harm.

Waters- identifies the ritual of cleansing for well-being. Beginning a process within which our clients are encouraged to create and identify with clarity at every visit. After all, water is an essential part of life and we could not survive without it.

Edge- composes the inspiration in the craft of hairstyling. Committed to education and partnering with sustainable partners - we are also well-being consultants.

Our ethos is to promote an environment that is open to all; as identity is all about individuality. These elements create a culture that is simultaneously coexistent in the world of beauty.

Our Story

It started with a big dream and a bigger vision, and who could guess WE would grow so fast. Fall of 2013, Liza began the "soul search", prioritizing what she wanted out of life that ultimately leads us to where we are today! Liza wanted a place for like-minded professionals with a passion for beauty, happiness and believing in exceptional customer service, where they educate and create.

Waters Edge Salon opened its doors on August 26, 2014, right on the water. Waters Edge (WE) is owned and operated by Liza (Lisa) Bouchard-Bain. Liza has been in the beauty industry as a hairstylist/colourist in Burlington for over 26 years. She has won Burlington's Readers' Choice awards consistently since 2004 when she returned to the workforce after having children. Her dedication to advanced education in colouring, styling, teaching, and learning has this salon and spa following those same award-winning steps that set the standard of excellence in the salon. Passion and dedication for the beauty industry and community are where WE triumph by providing the most professional, passionate people in the industry a home they can be proud of. 

Our team continues their education journeys to provide each guest with the highest quality of professionalism, current trends, expert products, and services. WE promise to educate our guests with our experienced teams' professional knowledge.

WE believe in giving back to our community through volunteer and charitable work, donations, fundraisers, and galas.  We hold community awareness events for Mental Health, Halton Women's Place, Run for the Cure yearly.  

WE believe in cruelty-free and environmentally conscience beauty companies as partners. WE use products such as Davines, Verso Skin Care, Love Fresh and Green Circle Salons. They give back and believe in curing global warming one stylist at a time with their environmentally friendly products and zero-waste philosophy.

What To Expect

Once You Arrive

Upon arriving in the Salon, you will be greeted by a team member and checked in for your appointment. If this is your first time, expect a detailed client consultation with your service provider and guidance to experience and maintain your look at home.

YOUR COMFORT during personal services
Our professional team members are trained in modesty during your appointment.

Refreshments- Beverages are complimentary during your visit. We have coffee, a variety of tea, hot chocolate and still water. We also have an alternative to dairy for your dietary needs.

Please set your cell phone to vibrate and refrain from loud conversations to ensure a relaxing environment for all. Only clients having services will be permitted in the salon. Friends and family are required to wait outside in the nicer weather, of course we make exceptions for minors. WE remain the right to bring back mandatory masks in our building without notice, do not worry, one will be provided for you if neccesary.
