Training Standards
Our team is trained in multiple disciplines. Each year, our team of professionals travels to conferences and hands-on training classes to better our skills and learn new tricks of the trade. Waters Edge invests significantly in keeping our team up to date with services.
Our Hair Stylists and Makeup Artists are highly educated and trained to keep up with current trends and fashion. You will be provided with a unique look that suits your face shape, skin type and lifestyle, opening a world of possibilities for your hair and skin.

Anthony is Italian born and immigrated to Canada with his family in his early teens, he has been in the hair industry for 40+ years and has honed his skills to near perfection.
He has owned and operated multiple salons, competed professionally on a national level, and is an all Canadian Judge and President of Team Canada OMC Hair World.
In recent years Anthony has had the opportunity to teach his skills and expertise to the next generation, with the objective to raise the level of professional excellence of the hairdressing industry through teaching Levels 1 & 2 in college.
He is passionate about his field and always love taking on a new challenge. He live off the philosophy that hard work pays off and will always lead you to success.

Anthony- Senior Stylist (Level 3)
Aleah loves to make her clients feel and look their best. As a stylist for three years, Aleah is always eager to learn new skills and techniques. No matter what it is you’re looking for she is ready to take on the task. She is always known to make her clients feel comfortable with her warm presence, not to mention how relaxed they all feel after her amazing head massages.
Her love for hairdressing started at a very young age playing with her Barbie’s hair. She was either behind stage at her dance recitals helping the dance moms with ballerina buns, or in the locker room braiding the basketball team's hair before game day through high school.
When Aleah is away from the salon she’s elevating her skills with education as part of the salon’s Davines Visionary. If you’re looking for someone who knows the ins and outs of Davines hair care, Aleah is your go-to girl.
When Aleah isn’t focusing on hair she loves to listen to music, dance, spend time with her loved ones, and painting on her down time. At your next appointment keep an eye out for Aleah dancing while your colour is processing!

She takes the time to listen attentively to your desires, concerns, and preferences, ensuring that she fully understands your vision on every visit to the salon. By doing so, she can tailor the experience and techniques to create a look that truly reflects the individuality and enhance your natural beauty.
Liza has won The Burlington Readers Choice awards as BEST HAIRSTYLIST/COLOURIST for several years and continues winning in the Salon categories, including BEST BUSINESS in Burlington. Liza has also won numerous awards such as Best Colourist Applicator with Loreal Professional, Best Permanent Wave Wrap with Helene Curtis to name a couple.
Her goal is to provide you with an experience that leaves you feeling pampered, confident and satisfied. From the moment you step into the salon to the final touches, Liza strives to create a warm and welcoming environment where you can relax and enjoy the process. She is dedicated to her career and continues her education to stay current on the latest trends and techniques.

Megan’s journey in hairstyling began at a young age, experimenting with styles on her Barbie’s and continued throughout high school. Since then, she has dedicated herself to refining her skills. While she loves to be creative with colour, her true specialty is blonding and blended looks. Megan loves educating her clients on how to grow & maintain healthy hair.
Her love and commitment for the Davines brand, offered Megan the opportunity to become the in-salon Davines Visionary. This role feeds her continuous thirst for education, keeping her updated on the latest trends and techniques while inspiring her creative side and allowing her to share her love for Davines with her team and clients.
Her goal for you is not just about outer beauty but also reflecting inner beauty. She strives to find hairstyles that suit all clients' lifestyles and loves to share tips and tricks for recreating the look at home. Outside the salon, she finds joy chasing sunsets with her partner, trying new recipes, spending time curled up on the couch with pets!
With Megan, clients can expect their hair dreams to come to life when they take a seat in her chair!

Laurisa is a Master stylist with over two decades of experience in the industry.
A stylist whose goal for clients is not just to deliver on your vision and have you leave feeling beautiful and confident but, also that you feel comfortable and relaxed during you visit.
Laurisa’s passion stems not only from a creative desire but, a drive to have every client leave feeling like the best version of themselves. Whether it be a big transformation or some much needed me time. She love to see you smile and her loud laugh can be heard all through the salon.
She has a hunger for continued education and stays on top of all the current blonding and precision cutting trends. If you’ve seen Laurisa working, you know her true love is all things blonde. When do you consider a stylist a blonding specialist? When you’ve taken all the classes and still are in search for more because you crave to know it all and know you never will as the beauty industry is forever evolving …Throughout her career she has been fortunate to have had the opportunities to take part in fashion shows and assist at Toronto Fashion Week for a season.
When she is not behind the chair you can bet she is with her dog, getting out for a hike with her husband or catching up on a good book, movie or tv show.

Gabriella has wanted to be a hairstylist since she was a little girl. She grew up watching her mother craft her art and Gabriella was determined, she wanted to follow in her mothers footsteps.
Her passion for colour and creativity has brought her to where she is today. When you are in her chair, her goal is to make you shine and feel like your best self inside and out through self expression making your hair goals a reality.
Gabriella’s core values are Teamwork, Mutual Respect, Trust, Love, and Integrity. Client satisfaction is Gabriella’s utmost priority, and she is committed to continuously improving her skills and knowledge to ensure she is providing each client with the best possible service. She values feedback and encourages open communication, as it allows her to better understand clients needs, preferences and further enhance their experience.
