Booking & Rescheduling or Cancellation

Appointments are required. Please keep in mind that weekends and evenings often fill our schedule early. All appointments must be booked by phone, email, or online.

All clients will be required to keep a credit card or gift certificate on file. If you are unable to leave a credit card on file, a 25% deposit is required at the time of booking.

Appointment times are reserved especially for you. We understand that life happens and everything isn’t predictable, but we kindly ask that any changes and cancellations be made 48 hours prior to your scheduled appointment. Failure to contact us and reschedule 48 hours before your appointment is subject to 50% or full cost in the case of a “no show” of the scheduled appointment at the salon’s discretion.

You are able to Reschedule or Cancel Online appointments, online cancellations are automatically refunded through our booking site prior to the 48 hour mark.

We are a cash-in cash-out service business. By holding a reservation with a credit card, you accept the rules and policies regarding no refunds and cancellation fees. Last minute rescheduling and no-shows impact our stylists with a loss of income, we are unable to fill those empty spots and can impact our business tremendously. Thank you for your understanding and continued support.

Arriving For Your Appointment

We ask that you arrive 5-10 minutes prior to your appointment. Clients arriving more than fifteen minutes late will be honored at your stylist’s discretion. We reserve the right to cancel or modify your services as needed to stay on time for all following appointments.

New Clients

As a first time guest at Waters Edge Salon, you will be given a tour and asked to fill out our guest consultation forms. This will help us get to know you and give us an opportunity to really listen to your needs. Thank you for choosing us!

Health and Safety

Your health and safety are most important to us! All stylists are Barbicide Certified and WE take pride in knowing that our space is Health Canada approved.

At any point, stylists reserve the right to ask a client to wear a mask if they appear to be sick or unwell. As well as our staff, our guests too reserve the right to ask their service provider to wear a mask if they feel it necessary for their comfort and safety.

Gift Certificates

Our Gift Cards make wonderful gifts. Gift Cards can be purchased online, at the reception desk or over the phone with a valid credit card. You can print at home, email or mail it directly to the recipient. Gift Cards are available for any service or dollar amount. All Gift Cards are in effect for 1 year from the date of purchase. After that time, all gift certificates can be redeemed for any service of the current dollar value. There are no refunds on Gift Cards.

Tipping

Gratuities are not included in the price of our services, packages or gift certificates and can be added to credit card, cash or debit. We welcome your gratuities as a reflection of the quality of service provided. For wedding packages, group and corporate events, a 20% gratuity will be automatically added to the final amount. For your convenience envelopes are available at the front desk to personalize for your stylist.

Green Circle Salon - With the help of Green Circle Salons, we recycle and repurpose up to 95% of our beauty waste. Including hair clippings, used foils, color tubes, excess hair color, cotton and more. This also ensures our PPE and colour waste are being disposed of in the proper wastelands keeping our city and wildlife safe from toxic chemicals and harm.
